Whew.

Over a week since my last update. Slow start, but I have an excuse. I've been doing some demolitions work, so I get to smash stuff and make a bit of cash. You're all jealous.

Been a pretty uneventful week-or-so, since I can do nothing but relax my aching muscles every evening for the next day. It's only for another few days, but this is what I've realized; nothing like swinging a sledge hammer for 9 hours a day to make you realize how incredibly out of shape you are. Oh well. It's fun, and I'm working with 2 good friends.

Hopefully I'll have something to more interesting to say after Saturday. Going out to celebrate getting my first paycheck in months.

Whoo!

Choz out.

Well, what a shock. No whacky adventure today.

Although it was my sister's birthday yesterday. Gave her a call just to let her know I'm not a complete asshole, and I did remember, but I didn't get a chance yesterday. I should be making a bit of money this week, so I'll get her something nice. Or I'll try to. She's going away to NYC on Wednesday for a school trip, so that'll give me some shopping time.

I'm gonna try getting to a museum next weekend, I think. It's been too bloody long since I've had a chance to just sit back and enjoy some art in real life. The internet makes things a little too easy sometimes.

While I'm talking about random junk; I was going through some of my old trade paperbacks, and stumbled upon a gem I hadn't had a chance to pick up in a while; Creature Tech by Doug Tennapel. The guy's style is fantastic for his stories. They just work so well together.

This is the part where I sign out to get some sleep, as I need to get up real early tomorrow morning.

Choz out.

First post!

My first post, and what a doozy it'll be.

Saw the movie Basic tonight. Neat movie, with John Travolta being as cool as ever. It was no Grease, but it was an interesting flick. The twist ending was somewhat predictable, but maybe I'm just jaded. Having seen The Usual Suspects so many times'll do that to you.

Other than that, not much is happening these days. No real job right now, but hopefully that'll change soon. All you graphic designers with jobs in Montreal; do a guy a favour and quit, so those of us who haven't worked in a while have a chance.

Oh well, it's bed time now, I think. Maybe tomorrow will bring a whacky adventure or two.

Until next time, Choz out.
