Well, I'm back from my eye appointment. Seems I have this. Luckily, it's only minor, but it might get worse, or it might not. Seems kind of up in the air.

While walking around the mall today (after the appointment, I had to wait for the bus) I walked into a sports store and realized I was looking at golf clubs. Now, I have nothing against golf, but I've never played before in my life.

Then it hit me; I'm getting old.

I'm having lunch with friends on their lunch breaks from work, I'm thinking about taking up golf, and my eyes are failing. This is strange to me, because just yesterday I was talking about how I wanted a magical change on my birthday, and suddenly, I've got it, but it's not all that fantastic.

The grass really IS greener on the other side, but then when you get there, it's not actually grass, but quicksand. GREEN QUICKSAND.

I think I'll go to the driving range tonight...

Choz out.

Happy belated birthday to me. I'm now 22, and nothing is different. I dunno about you, but every year around my birthday I hope that when the day comes, some drastic magical change will happen in my life, and we'll all live happily ever after. I don't seem to learn my lesson.

Oh well, I just caught up on Paul's blog, (Link on the left. I'll keep mentioning it until you read it, dammit.) and noticed he mentioned this girl from Clydes. Strange thing that. Ever see somebody you haven't seen in a few years and it's just like "Jesus H. Christ, why didn't I notice that before?" Well, that sorta happened. Maybe it's because I went to school with her since before I was even looking at girls in anything more than a cooties kinda way.

Oh well, she wasn't there last week, and tomorrow I have an eye appointment, so I think lunch will be skipped. Damnable degrading mortal body.

Other than that, um, not much has been happening. A friend brought over a CD full of these short films that were done by famous directors for BMW. Those were pretty impressive. I particularly liked the one where Madonna is shown to be an absolute bitch, as this is the image I've had in my head of her since I first saw her all those years ago. Funnily enough, that film was directed by her husband, Guy Ritchie. You go, mr. Ritchie. That'll learn her for ruining Swept Away. Although, who the hell would've seen that anyway, whether she was in it or not?

Oh well, I'm just rambling now.

I've been itching for a while to buy Season 1 of Samurai Jack on DVD. Why? Because it's the best thing to hit TV since, well, ever. And now, today, Bubba Ho-Tep came out, and I can't afford any of these things.

Oh and some Ring Lord or something movie came out on DVD today too. Maybe I'll check that out.

And finally;

Crazy Video

Go here. See this. Be amazed.

And I leave you with that. Choz out.

If anybody's interested, there's a mention of a counter-attack on raccoons in Paul's blog. (Link off to the left there.)

I'm not sure if he was directly quoting one of my misadventures from our camping past, but I'm sure one of us would be willing to tell the story. Probably not me, as I'm scarred for life now.

Damnable raccoons.

Just felt that deserved another update.

Choz has left the building. Of course, by building, I mean, uh.... internet.
This is an update, just for Paul.

Last weekend I went to a LAN party, and would've updated from there, but internet was restricted to those who are not me. Why didn't I just post right when I got home, you ask? I dunno, maybe I was exhausted from being up for 40 hours. Or maybe I just forgot, alright? Don't give me that look.

Anyways, I won a new hard disk in an Unreal Tournament, uh, tournament, so that was kinda cool. Other than that, lots of Counterstrike was played, so you can imagine I played games alone most of the evening. ZING!

Well, other than that, nothing has really been going on.

Oh wait! I got my new bike last week. It's a sexy beast. I can finally get back into biking, after a 3 year hiatus. (That's your word of the week; "hiatus".)

Oh well, a longer update than was expected, and yet, I managed to say very little. I'm just awesome like that, I guess.

Until our next hilarious episode, Baron Von Fritz Fokker the 3rd out
