Just a quick update here.

Not in a good mood at all. You ever get those phases where you just have so much going on in your head that you actually feel like you're losing your grip on reality?

I'm having one of those, and it is not encouraged.

Maybe I should just take my big advice from last post, but somehow it just doesn't make any sense when I read it back.

Talk about your emotional ups and downs.

Oh well.

Anyways, onto the update.

Big one here, I swear.

It's coming. You'd better be ready

Are you sitting down? Or holding onto something firmly planted in the ground?

Prepare to be shocked at the magnitude of this update. It's gonna be like Moses showing his followers the 10 commandments. That's what I'm trying to prepare you for here. So sit tight and hold on, because this is gonna be one helluva ride.

When looking at the big picture, life is pretty meaningless, so just live it well and be happy. Smile at somebody, and you might just change the world.

Did you catch it? Feel free to scroll your eyes up a few lines and read it again. I won't charge you, I promise.

I'm not sure where this comes from, but I saw the film Amelie today, finally, and I must say, the general consensus on this movie seems to be pretty damn right on. It is an excellent film. I walked away from it looking at things a little differently, and I think that any film maker would be thrilled to know that their work had an impact on somebody the way this did on me.

I definitely recommend it to anybody who might be looking to see what the rest of the world is doing with the film medium.

Aside from that, things haven't been too hot in the mood department these days. A few things have been on my mind that I feel I need to resolve, but I'm not sure how. As of late, I've had this feeling that I'm standing still in my life. Everyone I know is moving forward in their personal relationships, professional careers, or educational careers, while I feel like I haven't done anything in the passed year.

And on top of that, I have this gut feeling that things are going to get a whole lot worse before they get any better.

But anyways, the job fair went fairly (hah!) well. I got a few CVs out there, and have an interview on Wednesday, so wish me luck on that.

So with that, my (probably) longest update yet, I leave you.

This is more or less just a test, now that I've added commenting on this here blog. Click on the "# of comments" dealy at the bottom, and it'll bring you to the permalink for the post, and you can just scroll on down and post to your heart's content.

I know the spacing is weird on the "# of comments". This is the only way I can figure out how to do this. I'll have Fig come over and fix it for me.

At least I'm not dissapointing very many people when I don't update.

Anyhoo, not much going on still. Hopefully I'll have a job soon, as my unemployment is running out soon. Got a job fair to go to on Saturday, so good news soon, maybe.

Some more stuff added to my online photo album thing, for those who are interested. I've seperated them into just regular photos I take and my "works". I really don't have a better word to describe these, so that's what I use; my "works". It's just Photoshop work, not even eny of my own pictures, they're all from stock, but it helps me get a bit artsy. Who knows, maybe even somebody will be touched or angered by one of them. Whatever, if it evokes an emotion out of somebody, I guess my job is done.

Well, it's been a long time since I've updated. It would help if there was anything really interesting to put up here. Nothing going on really.

I've finally got a place to dump my digital pictures, so I guess that's cool. If you're reading this and you're interested, the URL is off to the left over there. I'm happy with some of the pictures, pretty bleh with a few. I guess everybody deals with stuff like that at one time or another.

Oh well, I'd appreciate any feedback on the photos on Skrud's forum (again, on the left) in the Artsy section, under "A New Artsy Thread!" Although I think everybody who reads this is probably on there already, so well, yeah.

Anyways, not in such a hot mood, so I'll be off now. Enjoy the photos, enjoy the wine, and try the veal.
